Welcome to Ruckus Bikes by Steve the Bike Guy’s website! We want to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience using our bicycle framesets. Please take a moment to read the following statement regarding the use of our products:
This Product Liability Statement (“Statement”) is provided by Steve the Bike Guy, LLC (“Company”) for Ruckus Bikes bicycle frames (“Product”). This Statement governs the terms and conditions of product liability in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Assumption of Risk: Cycling is a recreational activity that voluntarily carries a risk of injury and death. Users of Ruckus Bikes acknowledge and accept these inherent risks associated with cycling, and the Company shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or fatalities that may occur during the normal and intended use of the product. Users are strongly advised to exercise caution, follow safety guidelines, and wear appropriate protective gear while cycling.
- Product Assurance: The Company is committed to delivering high-quality bicycle frames under the Ruckus Bikes brand. Our products undergo rigorous testing and quality control measures by the manufacturer to ensure they meet industry standards and consumer expectations.
- Limited Warranty: The Company offers a limited warranty on Ruckus Bikes bicycle frames, providing coverage against defects in materials and workmanship. The specific terms and duration of the warranty are outlined below.
- Exclusions from Warranty: This limited warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from misuse, improper assembly, unauthorized modifications, accidents, normal wear and tear, or any other conditions not arising from defects in materials or workmanship.
- Product Liability: The Company acknowledges its responsibility for the safety and reliability of Ruckus Bikes bicycle frames. In the event that a defect in materials or workmanship causes harm or injury, the Company will be liable within the limits of applicable laws in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Third Party Components: The Company is not responsible for the compatibility of third-party components with our framesets. We do not test components for safety and compatibility. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any third-party components used with our framesets meet safety standards and are compatible for use. We do not offer full bicycles nor do we assume liability for the building of full bicycles using our framesets; it is recommended that bikes be assembled by an experienced bicycle mechanic.
- Governing Law: This Product Liability Statement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any disputes arising from or related to this Statement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Modification of Statement: The Company reserves the right to modify or update this Product Liability Statement at its discretion. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the Company’s official website or distribution through other appropriate channels.
By purchasing and using Ruckus Bikes bicycle frames, the consumer acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Product Liability Statement and agree to release waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Company, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, costs, and expenses that may arise from use of products offered by the Company.

Prices
All prices are subject to change and exclude applicable tax. All orders must be paid in full before shipment. We will verify payment information and availability of funds before shipping and we will not ship your order if we cannot verify payment information or if there are not sufficient available funds.
Errors
If we find an error in your order, we reserve the right to correct the error and revise your order accordingly (which may include charging the correct price) or to cancel the order and refund any amount charged.
Shipping
Free ground shipping is available to customers in the Continental United States. Customers can also choose to pick up their Ruckust Bike frameset from Steve the Bike Guy in Sherborn, Massachusetts.
Refunds & Returns
If you are not satisfied with your new frameset, please contact [email protected] within 10 days of receipt to arrange a return. Return shipping with tracking will be at the customer’s expense. Based on our conversation, we will replace it with another frameset if available, or give you a refund, subject to inspection.
Crash Replacement
In the event of damage as the result of a crash or other mishap, the original owner can purchase a new Ruckus frame at a discount. The replacement discount does not include labor to transfer parts. The final cost will vary due to market forces, current shipping rates and other factors. Ruckus Bikes will work with you to get a suitable replacement frame.
